Peter Ton · Founder & Developer
Peter never planned to build villas. He moved from the Netherlands to Thailand in 2004, after selling the IT company he had started at 26 and built up over thirteen years, serving clients like Heineken. The idea was a quieter life — and a single villa for himself, plus two for friends.
The problem was the market. Nobody was building the way he wanted to live: infrastructure done properly, design that actually fit the climate, no compromises, visible or hidden. So he built the three villas himself.
Twenty years and more than 70 villas later, he's still here — still involved in every project, and still living in one of his own villas at Springfield Golf Estate. Pure Eight isn't a developer that grew into a brand. It's a personal standard that grew into a company.
Aemon Ton · Design & Project Lead
Aemon runs design, project management and engineering coordination at Pure Eight — three roles most developers split across separate hires. A Thai architect trained at Khon Kaen University, she joined the team in 2019 and quickly became the person every project runs through. Her range is unusual: she'll move from a 3D rendering to a structural detail to a site coordination call without changing gears. The villas Pure Eight builds are as much hers as anyone's. She's also Peter's wife.
A family business, by design
Pure Eight is run by Peter and Aemon. Today, that means two projects a year — the only way to stay involved in every detail of every villa, from the first sketch to the final handover.
